By having their own attraction, all the beaches and islands do have their own strengths. In this post, there will be some explanations about the attraction or the uniqueness of the beaches and islands. 





Let's treasure the uniqueness and the distinctiveness

  • Batu Buruk
This is a preferred place for weekend holiday retreats in Kuala Terengganu. Do enjoy the cool breeze while strolling on the wide stretch of sandy beach overlooking South China Sea.
There are lots of facilities such as children’s playground, horse riding activities, jogging tracks, resting areas, toilets, eating stalls and performance stage are also available.
During weekend, there are also traditional performance includes dances, silat performance, top spinning as well as traditional games and pastimes. Watch kite flying during windy season.

  • Rantau Abang
Rantau Abang was the most talked by the tourist for its uniqueness of turtles. Local villagers believed that the giant leather-back turtles are attracted to Rantau Abang every year because of the presence of a large rock formation resembling a giant turtle.
However, the local believe that the turtles are attracted by two giant turtle stones (Batu Penyu) one lies between the bushes on a little hill in the village off the coast and another submerged underwater.
There is sign board along the way or you may get a villager to bring you there. Whereas the other one is covered by sand and water and is not visible any more.

  • Perhentian Island
Perhentian Island is actually a group of islands comprises of Pulau Perhentian Besar, Pulau Perhentian Kecil, Pulau Rawa, Pulau Serenggeh, Pulau Susu Dara Besar and Pulau Susu Dara Kecil.
Spectacular marine lives and diverse species of hard and soft corals in the clear, aquamarine waters will definitely thrill snorkelers and divers where the islands offer an amazing snorkeling experience in crystal clear waters.
Here, manta rays, reef sharks, barracudas and turtles roam freely in their natural habitat, not amazed to the flashing lights of the diver’s underwater camera.

  • Redang Island
Redang Island indeed becoming one of Malaysia’s most idyllic islands. This tropical paradise offers pearly-white sandy beaches, sparkling clear seawater, lovely sunrises and spectacular marine life.
Its amazing marine fish varieties, turtles and large range of coral reefs make it become a wonderful diving spot and its diverse coral species are said to be among the best in the world.
The five famous dive sites in Redang are Tanjung Lang, Tanjung Tokong, Tanjung Gua Kawah, Pasir Panjang and Batu Mak Cantek.
There are even a few shipwrecks dive sites that offers an adventure for divers besides for those beach lovers can also enjoy other activities like swimming, snorkelling, fishing, boating or sunbathing.

  • Kapas Island
Some would prefer lazing on the beach, letting the time goes by, lulled by the soft and whispering winds, doing practically nothing but there is something attractive at Kapas Island where it offers swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving in crystal clear waters or indulge in fishing, squid fishing, jungle trekking and also canoeing.
