Terengganu is blessed with captivating island retreats of soft white sand, breathtaking blue waters and dazzling undersea gardens, an unforgettable paradise in the South China Sea.

Terengganu in Malaysia offers tantalizing water sites. Terengganu is a naturally beautiful and invigorating Malaysian state with a magnificence 225 km coastline of clear water and sandy beaches from Besut (north) to Kemaman (south). The main attraction for tourists to flock to Terengganu is the diverse islands and beaches. Hotels, home stays, guests house or so called chalets – small house near the beach – can be found around all beaches of Terengganu. Tourists and travelers just love the east coast of Malaysia.
Pulau Redang, situated 45 km off the coast of Kuala Terengganu is the largest of all Terengganu islands. From the very first glance, Redang will enchant visitors with its compelling beauty. Its incredible azure waters fringed by white sand, against the backdrop of verdant jungle-clad hills make picture-postcard views.
Perhentian Islands of the coast of Terengganu are about 25 km from Kuala Besut and are two of the most beautiful islands in the world. Pulau Perhentian Besar and Pulau Perhentian Kecil are the two islands of Pulau Perhentian. Snorkelling and scuba diving are famous activities. If you choose to laze around the beach, be careful of dropping coconuts. Other activities are deep-sea fishing, swimming, wind surfing, sailing, boating, canoeing, and scuba diving. Do not be surprised if you bumped into monitor lizards, monkeys, geckos and flying squirrels.
Pulau Kapas is 4 nautical miles from Marang. It is an ideal location to chill and relax. Best time to visit is July and August. It is haven for swimming, snorkeling, underwater diving, wind surfing, kayaking (canoeing), boating and fishing.
Besides having lots of island in Terengganu, there are also lots of fascinating beaches that can attract your eyes such as Batu Buruk Beach and Rantau Abang Beach.

I have chosen Places of Interest and I will
focus on Beaches and Islands in Terengganu as the topic for my Blog assignment.
The beaches and islands in Terengganu are among the most attractive in our harmony country, Malaysia.
With its calm climate, the lenient, suave, sandy beaches entice lots of tourists
from all over the world. The beaches of Malaysia never fail to mesmerise the
attraction of the tourists, who stopover with their own sole appeal and
attractiveness.
Besides, many of our beaches are found cuddle up in
out-of-the-way islands and bays, making them the ideal place for those seeking
a peaceable holiday, away from the chaotic lives.
With its blue skies and crystal clear emerald water are alluring enough to attract the visitors not only Malaysian but also people all over the world. Well known with the tagline of 'The Land Where Nature Embraces Heritage' and also 'Emerald of the East', it can be guaranteed that those who even did not know about beaches and islands in Terengganu will fall in love with this creation.
